We distinguish three cookie categories:
Session cookie and CSRF token. These cookies are essential for Plantool to work. No consent is required for these.
Cookie preference and language preference. These cookies improve the user experience without tracking.
Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and the Plantool first-party analytics cookie. These cookies are enabled by default, but public analytics is stopped when you choose necessary cookies only.
When you first visit Plantool, we show a cookie banner. Analytics cookies are enabled by default. You can save preferences with analytics active or choose necessary cookies only.
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized visitor statistics unless you disable analytics cookies. IP anonymization is enabled. Plantool also keeps internal first-party analytics for admins, including pages, important clicks, browser/device, bot indication and country. Raw first-party analytics is retained for 180 days.
For Google Analytics, we use Google LLC (US) as processor. Google processes data according to its own privacy policy. We use the data only for statistical purposes.
You have the right to access, correct and delete personal data. Because analytics cookies do not store direct personal data, managing these cookies is primarily handled through browser settings. See our privacy policy for your full rights.
